MINISTRIES
Our Christian Education department provides ministries to all age groups. The children's ministries provides Sunday school classes from infant nursery to those in the fifth grade. Children's worship during the Sunday morning service is divided into two groups: age four through 3rd grade in the younger class and fourth and fifth graders in the older. Activities for children of all ages are provided on Sunday evening at 6:00.
We are currently in the process of rebuilding our teens ministry. Several from our children's group will be entering the teen years within this next year-and-a-half. We are working diligently to get things in place to meet the needs of these up-coming young people.
We currently offer three Sunday school classes for adults. Two of the classes are interchangeable and minister to adults of any age. The other class focuses on topics and studies geared to the younger adults.
Sugar Grove has a very active choir consisting of 13 to 15 members. Under the direction of Ramona Long the choir enhances the atmosphere of worship and has provided some very uplifting Christmas and Easter Cantata's. They practice each Sunday evening at 7:15.
